Hollins FAFSA code

Hollins established the Horizon Program in 1974 to meet the special needs of adult women returning to college. Horizon students can apply for academic scholarships and need-based financial assistance. We are committed to making a Hollins education affordable.

In order to apply for need-based financial assistance, students need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students can complete and mail a paper copy or access the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.edu.gov.

To be considered, you must complete a FAFSA and a scholarship application.

Grant

A $22,500 Verizon Foundation Digital Age Initiative Grant, designed to assist new adult college students as they make the transition to higher education, makes possible the following:

  • New computers
  • A four-credit hour class, "Women and Technology," that emphasizes transitional skills to improve success in a higher-education environment
  • Special lab assistance as needed, including one-on-one tutoring
  • Ongoing, consistent contact with an academic advisor

Payment Plan

Hollins offers budget payment plans through Academic Management Services. The plans are interest free and tuition payments can be spread over eight or ten monthly installments.
