Meredith Harper Meredith Harper '05, graduated with an M.S. in dietetics and nutrition from Florida International University in May 2010. Upon graduation, she will begin her dietetic internship and take the exam to become a registered dietitian. She is also Student Council Liaison for the American Dietetic Association, president of the graduate student dietetics association, and writes a daily nutrition blog (PursuingBalance.com).

Melanie Moro-Huber Melanie Moro-Huber '08
The debut poetry collection, Axe in Hand, by Moro-Huber was published in February 2012 through NYQ Books. She plans to enter an MFA program in creative writing and teach creative writing "somewhere, someday." She is currently the poetry book review editor for New York Quarterly. Recent work has been published in Fjords, Connotation Press, YB, Savvy Verse & Wit. She was a Tennessee Williams Scholar at the 2010 Sewanee Writers’ Conference. She has also been the supervisor of an after-school program for children at Mount Pleasant Elementary School for two years.
